    The President's Volunteer Service Award

    The award is issued by the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation on behalf of the President of the United States. There are three levels of the award and hours of service that must be completed within a 12-month period:


    Bronze 100-174 hours

    Silver 175-249 hours

    Gold 250+ hours 

    Recipients can earn more than one level of the Award within 12 months. Each volunteer must submit a record of service to a registered Certifying Organization. Track your hours by clicking on the following link: www.presidentialserviceawards.gov. The certifying organization is: jacobsencenter. When you've completed the desired amount of hours per award, please call the Center for Service and Learning at 422-8686. All award recipients will receive a personalized certificate of achievement, a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States, and an official President's Award pin.
